I Wish I Looked Like My Illustrations

A lace coat with fur lapel. Asymmetric, silk wool vest that lies against his skin, and deep wine colored wool pants.

I NEED to Learn How to Knit

I cut up pieces of color swatches and applied them to the illustration. In person, the texture coveys a knit like quality for this sweater. Next, packing tape went over it and pencil was smudged to give a background. It is meant to accentuate the sweater's neck line and emphasize the sweater wholly.

Crucifix Heel

A so called Savior is crucified upside down to a gladiatorial, sting ray heel.

Making Heads & Tails...

The craftsmanship and technique and taste of each person is different within the fashion industry. I'm hoping that the work and time I put in will guide me to where and who I'm supposed to be in that realm.
I've devoted the past 10 years of my life to studying fashion design. Both academically and personally, I have been moving with no fixed position. Of course, I always try to learn something from excerpts of my life, and then move forward.
I want to record some of the things I do along the way. Illustration, tailoring and patternmaking will be what I'll attempt to focus on here, and I am always open to constructive criticism... the reason for posting my work in large part.
Thanks for checkin' me out!
